Was there after Christmas. Wife and I took our two grandchildren for a quick visit to see the lights. Grandchildren haven’t stopped talking about the Smoky Mountains. Planning on returning in August for a week…grandchildren can’t wait. Their favorite thing was going to Anakeesta. I have always loved it in the mountains.
Like to view this webcam often as well. Have been going here for years know the park and the back roads like the back of my hand. Had to buy some property on top of those mountains. Stayed at zoders for years but since the motel next door was knocked down not the same. Loved that balcony and stream keeping the sliders open to here the running stream. Stayed at the new courtyard marriot on scenic road that used to be airport road. Top floor balcony’s facing space needle.beutiful views and short walk to the heart of the action. Try the peddler /Smokey mountain brewery/ mellow mushroom / to eat. So many hidden jems/gods country. Can’t wait for summer to go back up . Smokey mountain junkie
I find myself looking at all the webcams of the area almost everyday. There’s a feeling you get just being there that’s like no other. I think about the mountains all the time. It’s great to be able to see what is going on each day.
Anytime of the year is a good time to visit Gatlinburg. Always something to do or see, or do nothing at all. Good vibes, peaceful, friendly and laid back. My husband and I go as often as we can. Spent our anniversery there last 32 years. Always a good time.
nothing like going down the street of Gatlinburg and stopping and getting one of the Ogle Dogs then on into the Village to eat it bout at the Donut Frier’s and grab a jelly filled donut…. some of the best donuts I have ever eaten.
We were in town the 2nd week of April.. Planning for the next trip… I’ve never been disappointed.
Love piegon forge and gatlingburg , Just wish i didn’t live so far away . Takes 12 hours to get there.
